George is an accomplished all-round musician, conductor, accompanist, and arranger.
George started his musical career on the piano when he was five years old and has become an accomplished musician on the piano, double bass, accordion, ukelele and ocarina.
George has conducted several community orchestra groups since 1998, currently working as accompanist for the Southern Cross Voices (a community choir in Logan City), as well as the Redcliffe City Choir.
As a career musician, George is a well-known identity in the Brisbane classical/jazz/folk music scene; organising and performing in various ensembles, and supporting choirs and musical productions.
George’s passion for music is evident in his performances as well as his tutoring of young pianists. His philosophy that anyone can learn to play a musical instrument by following their innate abilities and musical tastes has instilled in his students a lifelong love of music.
George’s goal is to enrich the Brisbane music scene by connecting musicians and providing opportunities for them to perform, and the Redcliffe City Choir is excited to collaborate with George.
